We would now like to take a closer look at nanoplastics. But, wait… is that possible? Is it possible to “take a closer look” at nanoplastics? According to the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, “measuring environmental concentrations of nanoparticles is a real challenge for current analytical methods.” This is because these analyses are very costly and time-consuming. Precious time!<\/p>\n
To make nanoplastics visible, you need an electron microscope. Therefore, we at MeiLuft have taken on this task and are developing a handy, portable and fully automated electron microscope that provides imaging, detection and categorization of particles in the range of 100 nm and smaller for analysis.<\/p>\n
